About me
Abbi Mathews is a PhD student at the Centre for Appearance Research (CAR), investigating the role of social media in reducing stigma against people with visible differences. Abbi's PhD is supervised by Ella Guest, Amy Slater and Clare Wilkinson and is funded by the VTCT Foundation and UWE.
Abbi is also currently working as a Research Associate in the Psychological Sciences Research Group (PSRG), alongside Christine Ramsey-Wade.
