Alessandro’s field of expertise is flexible structure dynamics, nonlinear aeroelasticity, and experimental aerodynamics. These topics are investigated within the aircraft design discipline, considering the complex interactions between aerodynamics and structural dynamics and delving into nonlinear aeroelasticity. The main focus of his research is the design and development of new aircraft configurations for improved performance and reduced emissions. Additionally, Alessandro’s research extends to aerospace systems, where he investigates the integration of various technologies to enhance overall aircraft performance and reliability.
