About me

I am engaged in a co-funded PhD project with the Welsh Government and UWE Bristol University, investigating strategies to encourage the use of Metro systems. My research applies a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative analyses to understand the factors influencing travel behaviour. The ultimate objective is to propose evidence-based interventions that foster greater Metro use, reduce car dependency, and enhance sustainable urban mobility.

My academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, both achieved with the distinction. My Master's thesis explored the environmental impacts of transitioning from conventional vehicles to electric alternatives, utilising greenhouse gas emissions modelling and life cycle assessment methodologies. Additionally, I have published a peer-reviewed article on developing greenhouse gas emission inventories through a bottom-up approach, addressing emissions from stationary, mobile, and industrial sources.

Area of expertise

-Travel behaviour

-Traffic emissions

-Emission inventory
