About me
I am Associate Dean for Research and Enterprise in the Faculty of Environment and Technology. A mathematician by training I have spent over 25 years in the university environment at a range of different universities in the UK and overseas (Nottingham, Oxford Brookes, Auckland, Bristol and now UWE). This has included teaching, research and consultancy and, more recently, management.
Externally, I chaired the Committee of Heads of Departments of Mathematical Sciences (HoDoMS) 2014-17, am on the Council of the Institute of Maths and its Applications and am Vice President of the London Mathematical Society.
