About me

I am currently a Senior Lecturer in Initial Teacher Education within the UWE Initial Teacher Education Team.


I am passionate about teaching and learning specifically in Physical Education, and how generic Secondary pedagogy can translate into the subject of Physical Education as a practical subject. I enjoy sharing my passion with current and future Secondary PE trainees and supporting them through their PGCE.  


I have previously worked in a Bristol-based school teaching Sports and Health. During my time at the school, I was the schools lead trainer for the roll out of the new Early Careers Framework, and the ITT lead within the school.
