About me
Dania is a Senior Digital Learning Designer within the Centre for Academic and Teaching Excellence (CATE) at UWE Bristol, bringing over six years of experience in learning technology and digital pedagogy across higher education.
Her work focuses on designing effective, accessible online learning experiences that support both student engagement and academic development. She has experience across a range of tools and platforms, including Blackboard, Articulate Rise, PebblePad, and Padlet, and has a particular interest in accessibility, AI in education, and evidence-informed approaches to digital course design.
Prior to moving into learning technology, Dania worked for seven years as a qualified physiotherapist in the NHS, an experience that continues to inform her clear, evidence-based approach to educational design and her ability to work effectively across disciplines.
Dania holds an Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA, 2024) and is currently working towards Senior Fellowship (SFHEA).
Interests: Hiking, graphic design, photography, and mindfulness.
