SenIor Lecturer in Global History

Area of expertise

 I work on the history of human rights, the history of childhood, the socialist bloc and the Cold War.  My current research project, supported by a BA/Leverhulme Small Grant, is 'Internationalising Rights in the Global Cold War: The UN and the Creation of the Rights of the Child, 1945-1949'. I am also working on an interdisciplinary project on the experiences of young refugees in Bristol, supported by an AHRC Impact Acceleration Grant.
