About me
I am a Senior Lecturer in the School of Education and Childhood. I currently teach on the PGCE and Undergraduate ITE programmes in Primary Education here at UWE. My current areas are in Music, Inclusive Teaching and Learning and some areas of the Humanities. I also mentor students in school and online who are training within a range of our programmes.
Prior to working at the university, I was a primary school teacher, experienced headteacher and also a teaching and learning consultant within the city's School Improvement Services team. I am also a Local Leader of Education (LLE) for Bristol.
I am passionate about inclusive and equitable education for all. I have previously worked with the university whilst a headteacher on diversifying and decolonising the curriculum so that all children see themselves present in it.
