About me

I am currently an Associate Director in Education. I am interested in International teacher training. Before starting at UWE, I worked in a variety of schools and colleges teaching engineering and design technology.

Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching. I am also a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts.

Outside higher education, I am a mentor at Women Leading in Education.

Area of expertise

My primary area of expertise is programme design and professional development. I teach professional development on the PGCE programme.


I am a doctoral researcher on the EdD course, my interest lies in resilience and the emotional journey of trainee teachers. I am interested in qualitative research.
