About me

I am a microbiologist in the fields of fungal genomics, molecular biology, and natural products.

Area of expertise

My main area of research is the discovery and exploitation of novel fungal compounds through genome mining and synthetic biology techniques.

I'm keen to develop and optimise tools for the sustainable production of high-value fungal compounds, making the process more stream-lined, user friendly, and less technically challenging, whilst also increasing output and engineering capacity.
