About me
Mark joined the School of Architecture and Environment as a Lecturer in Building Services Engineering in April 2023. Before joining UWE, he held a postdoctoral position at the Hong Kong Centre for Logistics Robotics where he led a project on automated BIM reconstruction from point clouds. He was also a postdoctoral fellow at the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Mark holds a PhD in Building Energy from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, for which he studied integrated life cycle assessment and optimization with BIM and eventually developed several BIM-based LCA models and a toolkit. Mark has expertise in building services, construction management and quantity surveying and has worked in the construction industry.
