About me

I am an experienced academic and researcher specializing in cognitive aging, neurocognitive assessment, and human-robot interactions. My current research focuses on combining cognitive neuropsychology and technology for the development of applications in healthcare and assistive technology. I have specific expertise in the assessment of higher-level cognitive function (e.g., executive functions). My work in social robotics has focused on using experimental and physiological approaches to understand acceptance and ethical concerns in the use of social robots with vulnerable populations. My teaching is focused on topics in biological psychology and cognitive neuropsychology. I have experience teaching and supervising students at the undergraduate and postgraduate level (PhD/ProfDoc).
