About me
I'm a part-time lecturer in Journalism and PR at UWE. The rest of the time I'm a freelance journalist and media consultant. I'm co-editor and co-founder of Crime Review (www.crimereview.co.uk), an independent crime fiction review website.
I'm the author of Feature Writing for Journalists (Routledge, 2009), co-editor with Richard Keeble of The Journalistic Imagination (Routledge, 2007), and I contributed to Print Journalism: A Critical Introduction (Routledge, 2005) and Questions of Identity in Detective Fiction (Cambridge Scholars Press, 2007). I also have a chapter on sports journalism in Everybody In: A Journalists's Guide to Inclusive Reporting for Journalism Students (BCU/BJTC, 2016).
