About me
I am a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Environment and Technology, specialising in Information Science & Management. I am the Programme Leader for the MSc. Information Management, and the BSc. Business Computing. My research interests include open knowledge, data and resources and the politics of open. In addition I am interested in equality, diversity and inclusive practice and the ethics of technology.
Area of expertise
I have been an information specialist for over 40 years working in a variety of library and information services settings including schools, FE, HE and the public sector. I have also been an Advisor and Consultant with Jisc. I have a particular interest in open educational resources, metadata, digitisation and preservation
